Träd, Gräs och Stenar

The most legendary Swedish psychedeli rock bands. Back in 1967 they had already started doing Terry Riley-inspired underground music but with a rock groove. Pioneering a whole genre of music to come. In 1969 they settled for the band name Träd gräs och stenar and continued to pioneering the Swedish alternative music movement. Träd gräs och stenar created their own contemporary music, even if they have been compared to Krautrockers like Can and Faust internationally they Träden was probably first at it. Rhytmic heart pumping and sound streaming, sure – but at the same time peculiarly Swedish, with their roots in the mold and with branches that reaches high up into the clear air.
