Win a Placement on Inspectah Deck's New Album + Get Flown to NYC!

Tracklib is about to shackle the masses with drastic rap tactics: Inspectah Deck will release the first-ever album produced entirely with Tracklib samples. The beats are made by a top-tier team of producers. As if that’s not exciting enough, hold on to your studio seat: we’re leaving one spot open for you! One song on the album will be made with a beat from a Tracklib user.

This competition is now officially over. Please do not submit any more beats. We'll be back with many more fun competitions in the future, so make sure you're signed up to our newsletter and follow our social channels.

Because this major placement is the chance of a lifetime, Inspectah Deck wants you with him in the studio to record the track. We will hook the winner up with a flight to New York and accommodation there. And needless to say, it’s all fair play: the winning producer will be on the same level as all the other producers on the album. The winner will get writing credit and be appropriately compensated.

Use any Tracklib sample(s)

To enter this Beat Battle you have to make a beat using any sample from Tracklib. Funk, jazz, psych rock, several stems – anything goes, as long as the song clearly contains a Tracklib sample.

We’re talking about the hell-raiser here who raises hell with the flavor. So one word of advice to impress Rebel INS: make sure you produce a banger on that Wu-Tang tip. The winning beat will of course be selected by Inspectah Deck himself.

How to get started

If you're new to Tracklib, we're the first and only record store for sampling. We have almost 100k previously released songs available for sampling. It's used by some of the biggest producers and artists in the world, for example on J.Cole's double-platinum single MIDDLE CHILD.

You can easily search by genre, year of release, bpm, song key etc in our tracks section. Each song is $2 to download and you can clear the sample for release for as little as $50. You can read more about how Tracklib works here.
