About the judge

The discography of Grammy Award winning producer Rockwilder runs deep. Very deep. After his early work in the golden year of 1994 for Organized Konfusion, Redman and Erick Sermon, he went on to make beats for the likes of De La Soul, LL Cool J, Busta Rhymes, Jay-Z, Big Pun, D.I.T.C., Prodigy (R.I.P.), Nas, and many other notable artists—ranging from hip-hop to pop.

He’s affiliated to the Def Squad crew of Erick Sermon, Keith Murray, and his childhood friend Redman and usually work from the classic Def Squad Studio in Long Island. Twenty-five years and counting, still rocking wild. Case in point: watch how he flips "Opinions of History (Shi Guan)" by Xu Peidong in his Rhythm Roulette episode.

If you're new to Tracklib: we're the first and only record store for sampling. We have almost 100k original songs (as well as previously unreleased stems) available for sampling. It's used by some of the biggest producers and artists in the world. For example in J. Cole's triple-platinum single MIDDLE CHILD. DJ Khaled, Brockhampton, Mary J. Blige, Vic Mensa and many others have all released songs with Tracklib samples this year.

You can easily search by genre, year of release, BPM, or song key in our Tracks section. Each song is $2 to download and you can officially clear the sample for a release (digital and physical) for as little as $50. You can read more about how Tracklib works here.
