Lata Mangeshkar

Lata Mangeshkar (Name in Hindi: लता मंगेशकर; 28 September 1929 – 6 February 2022) is an Indian singer. Mangeshkar is one of the best-known and most respected singers of film music in India. Her career started in 1942, and has spanned over six and a half decades. She is the most-recorded voice in history, with over 30,000 songs to her credit that have appeared in over 1,200 films. Daughter of Deenanath Mangeshkar and sister of singers Asha Bhosle, Usha Mangeshkar, Meena Mangeshkar and composer Hridaynath Mangeshkar.
