Zulu

The first album by Miguel Ángel Ruiz (former Traffic Sound and Los Nuevos Shain’s member) under the name Zulu was also his last and one of the most enigmatic records of 70s Peruvian music, as the artist later decided to follow his own personal religious path. Released in 1974, it brilliantly linked psych-tinged rock with Afro-Latin American beats and folk pop.
