National police orchestra of the republic of Benin founded in 1962 (Orchestre De La Gendarmerie Nationale De La Republique Du Dahomey). Since 1973, the staff has been completely renewed by younger elements. During the same year, a special investment was allowed to equip the orchestra with ultra-modern and electronic instruments of very high quality.
