The Swedish label Country & Eastern was started in 2005 by musicians for lovers of the international music equivalent of slow food - al dente music.

Country & Eastern produces live music and a magnificent little catalogue of great music on our label: old recordings from India and Ghana, contemporary music from Sweden, Turkey and elsewhere as well as Chinese crickets recorded live.
