Freedom Force

Freedom Force was an American soul and funk septet that released a single, "What I Feel," in 1980 on Sundown Records, a label based in Greenville, South Carolina. The group featured Eric Blackmon (lead vocals, guitar, keyboards), Rudy Whiteside (backing vocals), Ron W. (guitar, backing vocals), Dennis Cannon (bass guitar), and Mike Hill (drums). Their music is characterized by smooth falsetto harmonies and a blend of soulful melodies with funk grooves

"What I Feel" is a soulful track that showcases the band's emotive vocals and tight rhythm section. The B-side, "Stop Running," complements the A-side with its rhythmic grooves and heartfelt lyrics. Originally pressed in a limited quantity of 500 copies, the single became a rare collector's item over the years.
