Litto Nebbia

Félix Francisco “Litto” Nebbia, born in Rosario in 1948, is a key figure in the history of Argentine and Latin American music. From an early age, he developed a solid musical foundation and began composing songs.

His involvement with Los Gatos Salvajes and later Los Gatos was decisive for the emergence and consolidation of Spanish-language rock, especially following the success of “La Balsa” in 1967. After the band broke up, Nebbia embarked on a prolific solo career, characterized by his exploration of genres such as jazz, folk, tango, rock and film music.

His influence extends beyond Argentina, as he helped legitimize the use of Spanish in rock and fostered the expansion of new forms of musical expression throughout Latin America. Furthermore, as a composer, producer and founder of the Melopea label, he promoted the dissemination of Argentine popular music.
