Lydia Lili'uokalani

Queen Lydia Liliuokalani was Hawaii's last reigning monarch, born in Honolulu on September 2, 1838. She became queen of Hawaii in 1891 but was forced to give up her throne in 1898, when Hawaii was annexed to the United States. She died on November 11, 1917.
