El Palmas Music

El Palmas is a music project, DJ identity and record label built around a long-standing passion for rhythm, dance culture and musical discovery. After years of collecting records, running a record store, producing music and DJing internationally, El Palmas developed a deep interest in connecting contemporary audiences with both overlooked recordings and new artists rooted in strong musical traditions.

The project grew from a particular fascination with tropical and Afro-diasporic sounds, while remaining open to a broad range of styles including funk, disco, salsa, dub, reggae, Afro music, hip-hop and bossa nova. This wide perspective reflects years spent exploring dancefloors, record collections and regional music scenes around the world.

As a label, El Palmas Music focuses on both reissues and new productions, recovering forgotten or underexposed artists while also supporting contemporary musicians with a distinctive voice. Releases appear in physical and digital formats, with a strong emphasis on vinyl culture and carefully curated music.

Across its work as a label, DJ project and platform, El Palmas is driven by the idea that rhythm is a universal language: music rooted in movement, memory, cultural exchange and human connection.
