Erik Deutsch

Pianist, keyboardist, composer, bandleader, and genre-bending sideman Erik Deutsch currently splits time between Brooklyn, NY and Mexico City. As of 2022, Erik is the full-time keyboardist for The Black Crowes; in the past he has performed and recorded with pop, rock, country, and jazz artists like Dixie Chicks, Norah Jones, Rosanne Cash, Citizen Cope, Charlie Hunter, Leftover Salmon, Shooter Jennings, Alice Smith, Shelby Lynne, Theo Bleckmann, Jessi Coulter, Joe Russo, Joey Arias, Devotchka, Scott Amendola, Teddy Thompson, Ben Allison, Steven Bernstein, James Blood Ulmer, Ellery Eskelin, Bobby Previte, John Scofield, Phil Lesh, Jim Campilongo, Nels Cline, Jenny Scheinman, Tony Malaby, Allison Miller, Del McCoury, Don Byron, Jeff Coffin, Skerik, Ron Miles, Michael Blake, Todd Sickafoose, and Art Lande.
