Multi-instrumentalist, songwriter/composer and producer Marnix De Heus aka Marnix FJ from Amsterdam.

Self skilled from a young age, Marnix FJ is hugely inspired by the sounds of the 70’s and early 80’s. Finding a truly unique sound combining these inspirations with his analogue approach into his layered production of indie soul pop & r’b tracks.

Marnix, 21 years old, quickly build up a career including co-writes and coproduction with Naomi Sharon’s (signed to Drake’s OVO label)– ‘Daughter Of The Sun’ (co-wrote, produced, and mixed by Marnix) & ‘1991’ (co-wrote and produced), Eva Valery’s – ‘Bygones’ & ‘Oxygen’ (co-wrote and produced), and Full Crate & A-Trak’s ‘Good To U’ (co-wrote and produced), Dutch rapper SEF (mixed and co-arrangements), Kay Slice (produced and co-write).

Not only is Marnix extremely talented, but his work method is also unique as everything he writes and records is done analog.
