LA-based drummer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist bringing a raw, human touch to every sample, composition, and drum break. Tamuz captures the warm, gritty textures of 70s soul, library music, funk, and hip hop, while also exploring cinematic and spaghetti Western inspired compositions, influenced by the Soulquarians, J Dilla, and D’Angelo, blending groove-driven musicianship with a strong analog character.

Tamuz has collaborated with artists such as J. Cole, The Alchemist, Logic, Chance the Rapper, Bootsy Collins, Cookin Soul, Rapsody, and Lalah Hathaway.

His focus is simple, creating sounds that feel raw, analog, and human, with the goal of connecting across a wide range of artists and listeners.
