Boom Bap Archives - Breaks Vol.1

Boom Bap Archives – Breaks Vol. 1 is a collection of raw, tape-driven drum breaks built from the ground up using real kits, real rooms, and a hands-on recording approach. Every groove was played live and printed through analog gear to capture natural swing, subtle imperfections, and that worn-in texture that only comes from tape. This volume focuses on classic boom bap foundations. Mid-tempo grooves, dusty textures, and drums that sit right in the pocket. Expect fat kicks, cracked snares, and hats with movement and feel. The breaks are left open and usable, giving you full control to chop, loop, and reshape them into your own sound. If you’re looking for authentic drum breaks that don’t feel programmed or recycled, this is your starting point.
