ThaLoops

ThaLoops is a sound design company based in Riga, Latvia, founded in 2009 by producer, composer and sound designer Richard Cherenkov. The mission is simple: give producers raw, authentic, professional-grade sounds that spark ideas and inspire new music.

Richard's production work has appeared on the UK Top 40, the Billboard charts and best-selling albums by Timbaland, Black Eyed Peas and Rihanna, and he curates and produces every ThaLoops release himself. ThaLoops sounds have been used by Rihanna, Scott Storch, Mojam, DJ Lethal and Shaquille O'Neal, among many others.

The catalog is rooted in hip hop and R&B, reaching into trap, pop and Afrobeat. Expect hard-hitting drum kits, many played by a professional drummer, plus melodic loops, construction kits, soulful guitar and a label signature: authentic world sounds, from traditional Slavic female vocals to recordings from Nairobi.
