30+ Multitracks of Drumma Boy's 'EDM Trap'

Besides producing for the likes of Drake, Young Jeezy, Gucci Mane, Yo Gotti, and Scarface, Atlanta producer Drumma Boy also makes beats on an EDM-meets-Trap tip. His latest, “Do It Look Like I Give A Fuck,” is now ready to be sampled on Tracklib with 37 multitracks.

Back in 2010, Drumma Boy produced “No Hands” for Waka Flocka Flame. He got him in touch with Steve Aoki who remixed the hip-hop track for the EDM/Trap world. That’s when Drumma Boy realized the full potential when the worlds of EDM and trap hip-hop collide.

“I mean, EDM has always been a huge party starter for the masses and trap is also the party starter for much of the masses these days,” Drumma Boy tells Tracklib. “So it’s an even playing field to be different and creative. It’s really just about the energy and fun it creates in parties!”

“Do It Look Like I Give a Fuck” follows Drumma Boy’s EDM tracks like “Hulk Smash,” his production of Migos’ “Look At My Dab (Bitch Dab)” which was heavily EDM-influenced according to Drumma Boy himself, and his Trap EDM remix together with producer TRK MRK of Usher's "No Limit" featuring Young Thug.

"I usually listen to records via Serato Sample or I’ll sample music straight into the MPC. That’s my go-to gear with FL Studio and Pro-Tools as my DAW of choice."

“Producing ‘Do It Look Like I Give a Fuck,’ I wanted to bring back the vibes I had with ‘Hulk Smash,’ which was the first EDM Trap beat I released,” says Drumma Boy. Dan Bilzerian used ‘Hulk Smash’ in a few campaign videos he made for his app release and the demand for me to make another one grew strong real quick! So here we are with the sequel: DILLIGAF!”

Trap House Vibes

We’ve seen Drumma Boy get to work in a Tracklib Live Cookup last year. The sample he used: “I Was About to Love You” By Isaac Hayes, for a much smoother production than his new dancefloor-ready “DILLIGAF.” Drumma Boy: “On Tracklib, I usually just listen and vibe while smoking. Whatever sticks out to me I’ll sample and flip it. I usually listen to records via Serato Sample or I’ll sample music straight into the MPC. That’s my go-to gear with FL Studio and Pro-Tools as my DAW of choice. Set up right in my kitchen; trap house vibes.”
