With a career spanning over four decades, he has scored more than 100 films and television programs, showcasing his versatility across various genres.
Growing up in a musically rich environment, Kaproff was immersed in music from an early age. His father was a prominent studio cellist in Los Angeles, contributing to recordings for artists like Frank Sinatra and Barbra Streisand.
Kaproff studied at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and the University of California, Berkeley (UC Berkeley), where he honed his skills in classical composition under the tutelage of esteemed composers such as Andrew Imbrie and Paul Chihara .
