David Hooper

David Hooper is a soul singer and musician originally from Houston, Texas, known for his expressive, smooth vocal style and deep roots in Southern soul and R&B. Born and raised with gospel influences, he recorded his first album in 1982 and performed with various bands in the US – including Hollywood and Another Level – before settling in Spain, where he’s lived for many years. Hooper became a central voice in the Tucxone Records soul scene, collaborating with The Silverbacks on the 2015 album “It’s My Turn”, which channels classic 60s Southern soul while showcasing his seasoned artistry.
