Fred Ferreira is a Portuguese musician and producer, recognized for his role as a drummer and composer in various musical projects. Born in Lisbon, he is the son of Kalu, a member of Xutos & Pontapés, and the brother of fellow musician Sensi. He began his musical career in his teens, at the age of 15, with the band Yellow W Van.
Fred Ferreira’s musical style is characterized by the fusion of various genres, including hip-hop, jazz, soul, funk, and Brazilian music. His rhythmic approach and ability to move between different sounds have earned him recognition both in Portugal and internationally.

Over the past two decades, Fred Ferreira has been a central figure in the Portuguese music scene, taking part in and collaborating with a wide variety of artists and groups. Notable projects include Orelha Negra, Banda do Mar and 5-30.
