Ginnels

Led by Mark Chester, Dublin’s Ginnels are one of the bands of the Popical Island collective which made the Irish music scene of the early 10s so exciting. Following a string of self-releases, 2014’s “A Country Life” introduced Ginnels to the international indie pop audience, which led to a celebrated show at Madrid Popfest. After a lengthy gap, February 2025 saw the release of new album “The Picturesque”, all these years adding wonderful layers to their captivating pop sound.
