Juan Hidalgo

Juan Hidalgo (Las Palmas, Gran Canaria, 1927), was the founding member of the ZAJ group, (with Ramón Barce, Walter Marchetti, and later Esther Ferrer and the writer José Luis Castillejo) in 1964 in Madrid. ZAJ was an exponent of Spanish neodadaism with influences of zen and futurism.
Hidalgo is considered as one of the most boundary breaking and creative artists of the Spanish vanguardia. Although he started out as a musical performer, Hidalgo also became active in other artistic fields such as poetry <a href="https://www.last.fm/music/Juan+Hidalgo">Read more on Last.fm</a>
