Luys Milán

Luis de Milán (1500 - 1561), also known as Lluís del Milà, Lluís Milà, Luys Milán, Luis Milán, or Luys de Milán, was a composer and Spanish guitarist of the Renaissance. He is known as the first composer of published music for the vihuela, an instrument similar to the guitar, and one of the first to give instructions on marking time in music.
