MIRA KENDÔ

Mira Kendô is a cool music project that mixes traditional griot sounds from Guinea-Bissau with modern electronic beats, creating a fresh and unique vibe. The name means “well thought out,” which fits their thoughtful, team approach to making music.

The group includes Guinean griot Braima Galissá, Dutch producer Jori Collignon, Guinean guitarist Eliseu Imbana Forna, and Portuguese drummer Gonçalo Santos. They blend the classic kora instrument with electronic grooves for a sound that’s both rooted and modern.
