His many years listening to tons of music birthed an array of influences both international and locally. From Kanye West to John Legend to Jay Z (the phrase if Jigga was a singer a common statement in his music) to Nigerian artists like Jesse Jagz, cobhams, Naeto C who is basically the forerunner of the alternative sound and many others. He started his artistic career as a member of a now defunct duo group 5Minutes. But eventually branching out to pursue a solo career.
