Sample any song(s) on Tracklib

Make a beat using any sample from Tracklib. Jazz, funk, pre-baked loops and breaks, obscure Chinese folk music, rare reggae stems, one of the previously unreleased Isaac Hayes tracks… Whatever gets your juices flowing. It’s all fair game. As long as the song clearly contains one or more Tracklib samples.

Last year’s competition with Wu-Tang Clan’s Inspectah Deck led to thousands of submissions. So make sure to go all-out to impress Styles. The Ghost himself is going to select the winning beat.

About Styles P

There’s no sugarcoating in the music of Styles P. The New York emcee delivers hard, raw, and real rhymes since his 2002 solo debut on Ruff Ryders/Interscope. He started hip-hop group The Lox together with childhood friends Jadakiss and Sheek Louch, and is the founder of D-Block Records.

Styles P often calls himself The Ghost (abbreviated for last year’s album as The GOAT: The Ghost Of All Time), referring to the darkness and roughness in his life: “I'm ‘The Ghost’ of this shit for all the spirits I possess / All the voices I be hearin', shit I'm feelin' in my chest / I could ghost through your walls and flow through your soul.”

Keeping it rough and real—and healthy, as a juice bar entrepreneur who owns four juice bars in New York together with his wife.
